Opportunity overview

Pride In Motion Corp. is exploring Ohio-based transportation partners for laboratory courier services supporting the USAFSAM Epidemiology Laboratory. Subcontractor selection and any work assignment are conditional on verification, agreement, and contract award.

This is a government Request for Quotation (RFQ), listed within our RFP opportunities area. No award to Pride In Motion is represented here.

Updated government closing date

January 29, 2027 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. The current procurement notice supersedes the September 17, 2026 closing date printed in Amendment 1. The government notice also states that previously submitted quotes may be reaffirmed through at least February 28, 2027 or revised by the new closing date. Route & service schedule

Schedule below summarizes the September 2, 2026 PWS. All times are Eastern; later amendments govern.

FedEx South Dayton Station

Miamisburg, Ohio → USAFSAM Epi Lab

  • Monday–Friday: arrive by 8:30 a.m.; second pickup when required by 11:00 a.m.
  • Saturday: one pickup at 9:30 a.m.
  • Service includes holidays except the six FedEx closures specified in the PWS.

88th Medical Group Laboratory

Wright-Patterson AFB → USAFSAM Epi Lab

  • Monday–Friday: one pickup between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays.
  • No-pickup notification by 9:00 a.m. when applicable.
  • Coverage must account for overlapping pickup windows.

USAFSAM Epidemiology Laboratory

Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio

  • Direct transport after FedEx pickup, with no other business stops.
  • Physical handoff and delivery receipt with package count and pickup/delivery times.
  • No overnight holding or unattended delivery.

Partner readiness

Vehicles & capacity

Vehicle no larger than a 15-passenger van. Additional trip required if volume exceeds capacity. PWS estimate: approximately 175 boxes across weekday FedEx pickups.

Drivers & access

REAL ID-compliant driver licensing, installation access readiness, required TSA processing and FedEx vendor badges. Backup drivers need appropriate qualifications too.

Handling & documentation

Laboratory specimens may include regulated or potentially infectious material. Demonstrate personnel training, handling procedures, chain-of-custody records, and readiness for the requirements in the PWS.

Dispatch & backup

Reachable dispatch, backup personnel and vehicles, and capacity to retrieve an unscheduled FedEx shipment within two hours of notification.
